Discussion:
Our first day, leading up to the cleanse:
There is a process to go through. It just doesn’t happen overnight. We need to use the knowledge and experience of all modalities. Western and eastern. In time it is my goal for Mansfield to become aware of the healing power within.
We have to do a lot of deconstructing of our old thoughts. We have been taught to believe to look for the answers outside of ourselves. Now’s the time to begin to shift our paradigm and look inside. People going through a health challenge can use their experience to shift their own paradigm. They have the ability to look at their experience as a gift, and allow their spirits to bloom, as their inner beauty begins to emit what they are becoming, from the inside out.
The body:
I First wanted to talk about level of commitment and find out where he is and how far he is willing to go:
What is your level of commitment?
Share the story about Boon’s (my partner) friend’s father who had cancer:
His friend’s father, had been diagnosed with cancer and he told him that all he had to do was to change his diet his cancer to go away. (he was a practicing Chinese medical doctor) He told him to not eat many of the things I am suggesting. After a while he was cancer free. After, about 10 years of eating this way, he was now in his seventies, he decided he no longer wanted to denied himself of the foods that he had enjoyed for so many years and was ok if his cancer came back. In just one year of going back to his previous diet his cancer returned. He started to deteriorate and die slowly and one day he told his son that he was ready to make his transition. His son said, ok, and told him to stop drinking water and eating until his body would eventually let go.
Important question to ask before we go any further:
Now, Man… where do you think you are, within the spectrum if this story? There are many levels from where to start from… Where are you?
After, he told me that he was willing to be my “guinea pig”, for the next week, and that he was open to trying my Newborn detox program, I knew I could continue to help inspire a paradigm shift and lifestyle change. That would benefit his health forever.
Next I shared the concept of eating living foods:
When we eat we want to help our bodies function to their fullest potential. By eating foods that are living we are giving our bodies the fuel it needs to optimize our own healing potential. When two are experiencing a health challenge it is very important for us to help our bodies do what it wants to do which is heal itself by generating new cells in our blood, tissue, & origins. Every part of our bodies at every second of the day want to restore itself into perfect balance. We can either help or hinder this process. One of the only ways we can control this is through our diet. We have to potential to optimize our own bodies desire to step into pure physical joy.
Read “The pH miracle” or “Alkalize or die” to get a professional idea of what I am saying. I am not a doctor but I have had a human experience that has given me the insight to heal myself and now I want to share it with you.
Understanding alkaline and acid (or basic):
Disease cannot exist in an alkaline environment. we become sick when there is too much acid present. So we need to find ways to bring our bodies into an more alkaline environment.
The backpack analogy:
When we walk through life it’s as it we are carrying a backpack. When we are a newborn, it is empty and we are alkaline. As we continue on our journey we are putting things in it, and taking things out of it. In the west, mostly acids. The things we are putting in it ( especially acids) will eventually weigh us down, until it is so heavy that it pulls us “six feet under”. Toxins, found through the food we eat, the air we breath, and the water we drink can weigh us down. Also stress, related to work, or even our personal lives can also weigh us down. It is very important, as we are on our walk, to find ways to take things out of our backpack, so it doesn’t get heavy enough to pull us underground where can’t enjoy the experience called life. We do this by finding ways to detoxify our bodies. We don’t have complete control over some of the toxins we are being exposed to in our daily lives, like through the air we breath, but some things we do have control over… One of the most important ways we do have control over is through the food we eat.
