Only Grapefruit? (video)
When you have a chronic illness, it is recommended that you not eat any sugar. That means no processed sugar as well as even fruit sugar. It is because sugar produces microforms in the body which inhibit cell growth. So when I read in the pH miracle and that the only fruits suggested to eat were tomato, avocado, lemons, limes and grapefruit I was a little concerned. Not because The list was so short but because it had been years since I had eaten a grapefruit. Mostly, because they were too damn messy! After I had been on my cleans for about a month and I decided to start eating grapefruit my first experience was like my last. After delving into opening the grapefruit and trying to take the meat out without getting all the juice in my lap, avoiding eating the skin; We all know how bitter the skin is, I was completely covered in grapefruit juice. The only reason I did not give up was because it was the only real fruit that I would be able to consume on a daily basis. I was not giving it up so quickly. After about four months of trying to eat the grapefruit instead of it eating me, I discovered a way of cutting it so it was not messy anymore and I could actually get away without wearing a bib to enjoy this fine fruit.
